Patrick began his financial services career in 1983, and prior to co-founding NorthCape Wealth Management, worked for several well-known firms:  Bache & Co., Kidder Peabody, and AG Edwards & Sons, and Wells Fargo Advisors.  Patrick shares his conservative investment philosophy with customers who need an experienced and ethical financial advisor to help them achieve their investment goals.

Patrick became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) professional in 1992, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. He served as an adjunct professor at Medaille College for several years in the early 2000’s, teaching various sections of the Financial Planning curriculum.

Patrick is an arbitrator for FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).  FINRA has a forum in which industry-related complaints are heard and settled by an impartial 3-person panel.  Experienced in his field, Patrick has presided over 50 cases as the required panelist from the investment industry.

Patrick graduated from Siena College in 1981 with a B.A. in English and decided to pursue a career in financial management services.  

Marriage and four children have solidified his ties to Western New York.  He and his wife Joanne (neé Cotsonas) are active in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Buffalo, NY.  Patrick has been elected to numerous Parish Councils, has served as Treasurer for many years, and he was the first non-Greek Parish Council president. Patrick also continues to play basketball in several recreational leagues, and is learning to play Pickleball.
